Ashford-in-the-Water is one of the most picturesque villages in the centre of the Peak
District National Park. We are situated within a short distance of Buxton, Bakewell,
Matlock and Ashbourne; all market towns still having their own market days.

Chatsworth House, one of the best loved stately homes in the UK and is only 3 miles away, Haddon Hall an Elizabethan castle is 1 1/2 miles away and of course Castleton is famous for the Blue John Stone. It's full of interesting caverns and is only a short ride away.

Ashford is the perfect centre for a walking holiday with both the White Peak and Dark
Peak close by.
