Location
Rose Farm is a 5 minute drive from Bakewell, in the village of Ashford. Conveniently located close to Monsal Head, Monsal Dale and the newly opened Monsal Trail with many short or long walks from the door.  Ideally located for those who enjoy walking, cycling, golfing, fishing with day permits available on the River Wye, or just exploring the beauty of the Peak District National Park.  It is a short drive to Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, and Buxton, Ashbourne and Bakewell are all within a 20 minute drive.
 
Places to Eat
Ashford, Little Longstone and Great Longstone all have excellent pubs serving good beers and good food.
